Let me not make you wait anymore here is the breakdown:

  2. Go to http://slashdot.org/
  3. Right click on the search box at the bottom of the page and select "Generate Custom Search..." from the menu that appears:

Google Adsense Couple Of New Features

What's up guys everybody ready for another round of all about Google Adsense updates? Well here it goes:

First Google Search for Adsense has now been modified to include an option to land your searchers on your website. Usually it redirected them to Google taking away your precious visitors. The results now show up in a i-frame on your website. Google Adsense of course was all ready to release a directions page.

Second a nice little feature that shows you when you last logged into Google Adsense so for those of you Adsense junkies who go there every minute you can be reminded of what you are doing. I hope I am not the only who sometimes finds themselves on the Google Adsense control panel even though I wanted another website.

Third this one is a new bug discovered but what quickly fixed. Some people kept reporting that they were being asked to download third party applications on pages with Google Adsense. Users with Internet Explorer 6 or 7 reported this. After further review this little code was founding the http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js javascript code:

var plugins=new Array("image/svg-xml", "application/x-director", "application/x-shockwave-flash", "audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin", "video/quicktime", "application/x-mplayer2", "application/pdf")

After four days of contacting Google Adsense the problem was fixed.Well that's all for today folks enjoy!

Thank You

Blogger Beta Issues You Don't Know About: Read Before Switching!

Found the problem with my template and quickly resolved. Thank You for you patience.

And if you haven't figured it out yet blogger has a new beta out. And I signed up for it with high hopes only to find my template blocked and the fact that I can't edit my posts. But for those of you who are still optimistic about this new blogger here are some of the new features it offers:

  1. The search feature on your Edit Posts page.
  2. The NextBlog button on the Navbar.
  3. Edit HTML mode for Layouts (though if you are still using the old template system, this will work normally).
  4. Support for certain types of blogs. These accounts will not be able to upgrade until later.
  5. Support for some browsers. If you use IE 6.0 or Firefox, you should be fine, but we're still working on the compatibility issues in other browsers such as Safari, Opera, etc.
  6. Other languages. It's English-only for now, but other languages will be coming soon.
And of course the knoe problems an dissues just as a warning:
  1. Users who have not switched to Blogger in beta will not be able to login to comment on blogs that have been switched. Commenting using the "anonymous" or "other" options will still work.
  2. Spell check and labels have problems with accents or other special characters.
  3. If you are using Layouts, the edit widget icon on your blog will occasionally appear in the wrong place or not at all. You can still edit everything from the Page Elements tab, however.
  4. The archive list will not display posts without titles.
  5. A blog owner's comments are not exempt from comment moderation.
  6. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 attempts to download links to site feeds, rather than display them in the browser. You can right-click the link to copy the location into your feed reader.
  7. Some "view blog in new window" links will open in the same window.
  8. There are general formatting issues in various places throughout the application. These are mostly just cosmetic and nothing to worry about in terms of functionality.
  9. The "Remember Me" login option will not work correctly in Internet Explorer 6.0. The best workaround is to simply use Firefox. However, if you prefer IE, you can add google.com to the list of allowed sites under Internet Options > Privacy.

Not to mention the fact that if you use a custom template and have the code that hides your profile you may want to erase it. Many services that offer free blogger templates have these include already.

So that's about it but in my opinion Don't Switch to The New Blogger Beta wait a month or so when it's more developed.

Thank You

Template Problems

New Chitika Shoplinc CPC Program

Many people have been expecting Chitika's ShopLinc with a lot of enthusiasm. As this is a totally new way to intergrate CPC into your website. So far only a small number of beta testers were allowed into the program but now it has gone public. It's a shopping program that you can use to sell your products. Along with it you get paid on a pay per click like eminimalls. It takes the products form your rss feed to insure that they are up to date links. This is a completely new idea that may sweep the internet itself, as feeds were always seen as an easier way to navigate and get information form blogs or websites. It gives you the ability to customize it form the header to the footer. As well as space so you can put any other advertising agency's ads in like Google Adsense. When they click on a product they get more information on it as well as other related products on your blog. But also included are their products so that you can earn your CPC money. The setup is easy enough so far and has linkable product pages, allowing for outside search engine optimization to be used to promote the product. They have a demo in case you want to check out the features before you decide if it's for your blog. Thank You

The Dollars In The Forum Advertising Industry

Some say Google Adsense was destined for forums. Why if it wasn't for the fact of forum signature advertising where would most web design websites be? There however reasonable explanions to the rarety of an idea such as was the forum. First let me point out the obvious fact of how google just loves to soak up sweet delicious content. Especially if they are getting updated every second like a forum's. Second let's not forget the user attention itself. No one can attract people better than people. Current events, new tips, and tricks it's all there. People know what they are interested in and in most cases others follow. Third the obvious new trend in forums taking your Google Adsense and sharing their ads with you. For example Precharge Forums has an option for it's users to get their Google Adsense Ads shown in each thread they start so every user's who goes to your thread sees your ads increasing your cash opportunities even more. I am sure there are more ways to benefit from this rising Internet phenomenon, but so far those are the ones I've been able to find, feel free to post any new ones in the comments section to help out others. Thank You
